America's increasing inequality just happened naturally or it's been politically engineered during the last thirty years?

The evidence is hard to dispute. Those in the very top - 1% society whealthiest - have been better and better with an increase of 256% in income gains comparing with 1970's statistics for the same group. In oposition the other groups grew much slower - only an average of only 10 to 20%. Many times with the complacency of the government.

The same is true in Portugal, the most unequal country in Western Europe, with a government that has adopted policies that only hasten this inequality.

A more egalitarian and democratic world is only possible with a more equality society. Because better social relations are built of this material foundation.
